1 In the never-ending quest for great taste with fewer calories,
2 we proudly present: MIME::Lite.
4 MIME::Lite is intended as a simple, standalone module for generating
5 (not parsing!) MIME messages... specifically, it allows you to output
6 a simple, decent single- or multi-part message with text or binary
7 attachments.
8 It does not require that you have the Mail:: or MIME:: modules installed,
9 but will work with them if they are.
11 You can specify each message part as either the literal data itself
12 (in a scalar or array), or as a string which can be given to open()
13 to get a readable filehandle (e.g., "<filename" or "somecommand|").
15 You don't need to worry about encoding your message data:
16 this module will do that for you.
17 It handles the 5 standard MIME encodings.
