110 The SliTaz GNU/Linux is an international association based in
111 Switzerland and respects the Swiss Civil Code. The association is
112 comprised of a committee and members and provides financial and
113 staff remuneration. Members meet once a year at a general meeting and
114 decide for example, the activities of the association or the membership
115 fees. Each member has a right to vote on individual proposals and can
116 use the hardware (inc. cdrom, T-shirts) of the association to help setup
117 a working group to organize events.

120 The project takes on the scale and demands of the
121 professional world more and more frequently and the creation of the
122 association is seen as something of a necessity. We chose an association
123 economic model to meet the needs of the project and also provide solid and high
124 quality services to our users and business partners who wish to sponser

135 <h3>Current objectives</h3>

137 SliTaz is a project using the open development model and all the
138 work is done by a community of volunteers. Our goal is to improve and
139 provide better organization of contributions. The project's
140 friendliness, support, update sites, maintenance services, technical
141 support and management teams are topics that we would like to
142 address and professionalize.

145 To achieve this, we would ideally like 1 or 2 developers
146 to work part-time or full-time on SliTaz. They would have
147 the responsibility to consolidate and optimize existing systems while
148 dealing with new demands. The various sub-projects would also be more
149 dynamic and would see new features published much more frequently.

155 The association is open to any persons. Becoming a member
156 allows you to support the project and ensure its sustainability through an
157 annual fee.

191 There are various ways to financially support the association, become
192 a member or sponsor, or make a one-off payment via PayPal online secure

195 some logistical needs, any donated equipment in good working order is
